Paperbush Edgeworthia

Height: 0,8–1 m

A medium-growing deciduous shrub with dark green, lance-shaped leaves with silvery undersides, while young leaves are covered with silvery hairs. Its fragrant, tiny, yellow, tubular flowers are gathered in flat, umbrella-like clusters and adorn the garden before the leaves emerge, from February to April. Its height can reach 1.2-1.7 meters. It likes partially shaded spots and well-structured, nutrient-rich soil. Its water needs are moderate. It is a lovely garden feature as a specimen plant, but also combined with other perennials.
